In November 2010 LegalAdPro.com polled 170 U.S. law firms with the following question: Approximately how many new legal client leads do you receive monthly from your law firm's website? The results revealed that, on average, 75% of law firm websites generate less than 5 new client leads per month. The percentage is slightly lower for small law firms (67%) but surprisingly increases as the firm size grows. Medium sized law firms reported that 84% receive 5 or less monthly new client leads while all of the large law firms in our poll reported that they receive 5 or less new client leads per month. Who's generating the most leads from their websites? Small law firms. 18% of small law firms reported receiving 11+ monthly new client leads. 9% of small firms reported receiving more than 100 leads per month.
